Give Them Your Heart
(Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:1-9)

As we continue our study of Ephesians 6:4 and see the command for parents to pursue “the discipline and instruction of the Lord” for their children, we must ask: what does it practically look like to instruct our children? In all of this pursuit, there will be a longing for the hearts of our children to turn to the Lord, and one of the ways to seek this is willfully giving our hearts to our own children first.
