Springs of Life Bible Church is an Elder-led church, following the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

Currently serving as our church as Elders are:

Shane Smith

Pastor Shane Smith is our primary teaching Elder. He received his biblical counseling training from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated from Liberty Theological Seminary in 2011 with an M.Div in Pastoral Counseling. On February 7, 2016, in his first address to the congregation after being called as pastor, Shane gave his testimony as a follower of Christ. Shane is married to Kim and they have been blessed by the Lord with two children, Kara and Garrett.

Jarrod Best

Jarrod Best grew up as a part of Springs of Life and was mentored by several prior elders, including his father. After several years away, he was ultimately called back home to SOLBC. Jarrod is a full-time network engineer in RTP and a graduate of NC State University. He and Caitlin have been married since 2017 and have two daughters, Alice and Noel.

Brad Hill

Currently serving our church as Deacons are: Tim Albano, Barry Allen, Buck Dickerson, and John Straffin.
