The Folly of a Fools Gold Foundation
(Lamentations 4:1-13)

Jeremiah laments that the “pure gold” of the Lord’s temple and its foundations has been made “holy stones” lying scattered in the street. Many churches today have done the same, scattering the precious word of God–the only true Foundation we have–to the ground and replacing it with fool’s gold.
