Assured Compassion in Affliction
(Lamentations 3:31-33)

In the most trying time of his life, Jeremiah still expresses assurance that the Lord “will have compassion.” What assurance is there that we, too, can have confidence that, even in times of affliction, the Lord’s compassion towards His children will be the final word?
