Come, All You Unfaithful

Come, All You Unfaithful
(Matthew 1:1-16)

The Christmas hymn “O Come, All Ye Faithful” calls for those “full of faith” to come and adore our Lord. However, it can be misunderstood to mean that only those who have been “faithful”–those who have their spiritual “act” together–can come to Christ. Praise the Lord, the exact opposite is true. It is those who are fully aware of their brokenness, failure, sinfulness, and lack of faithfulness that the Lord came to save.
