Potential Temptations in the Midst of Persecution
(1 Peter 2:10-12)

We who are in Christ are called to root our hope and joy in the world to come…we are sojourners and exiles in the here-and-now. This ought to produce a longing to endure persecution for the fame of Christ. Such a response, however, will not always be how our hearts are tempted to react. We must be on guard against the leanings of our souls in seasons of persecution.
