As King Ahasuerus grants Esther’s request for a new decree that will allow her people to defend themselves from their impending annihilation, the major source of hope is that the word of the King cannot be revoked. In a day where people are tempted to doubt the promises of God, know that his faithfulness and ability are infinitely more trustworthy than any earthly king.
