A Very Good Friday
(John 19:30-37)

As we ponder the most horrific event in all of history–the death of the infinitely innocent Christ–a question could easily be asked: “How could we ever call a day like this ‘good’?” When we understand all that our Lord accomplished on that day, we can rest assured that this truly was a very “Good Friday”.
