God’s Foundation and Seal
(2 Timothy 2:17b-19)

After Paul’s speaking of “irreverent babble” and quarrels about words spreading through the body like “gangrene,” he names two men who were causing this strife. He then lays out the foundation and seal of believers that encourages and gives evidence of the Lord’s gracious working in their lives.
