Our Companion in Darkness (Psalm 88)

When seasons of genuine pain and despair enter our world, where do we run? When it feels that darkness is our only friend, where do we go? Psalm 88 leaves us with this question. Praise the Lord, his word makes clear that he is a true and better companion, not despite what we are facing, but in the middle of it.
