The Horror and Hope of Hosanna (Mark 11:9-10)

On this Palm Sunday, we remember the Jerusalem crowds shouting “Hosanna!”, a cry pleading for salvation, at Jesus’ entry. However, we will never fully understand the hope of this answered plea until we are awakened to the horror of what caused our need for salvation in the first place.
